Adele Asked To Sing In The White House?
Lady of the moment Adele has been asked to sing at Michelle Obama’s 50th birthday party, according to the Daily Mail. The newspaper went on to say that the singer would perform at the White House in Washington on January 14 2014 alongside Beyonce. The source told the Daily Mail: "America's First Lady will be holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyoncé, she has asked them both to sing. Adele has graciously accepted and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance."
The source continued: "She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for the First Lady and her friends. The Obamas will pay Adele's expenses as it's a private party, not a State one."
Adele recently spoke about the follow up to her highly successful sophmore LP '21', telling The Daily Mail that lyrics will "come when they're ready, and when I've got
something to sing about."
