Grammy Award-winning singer Adele is certainly getting ready for the arrival of her first child, as reports reveal that she spent a staggering £35,000 on a state of the art nursery - for all of her homes. As reported in Reveal magazine, the ‘Someone Like You’ singer will treat her new baby to a selection of modern accessories…
“Adele might have a reputation for being a bit of a spendthrift but when it comes to her baby she’s sparing no expense,” a source told the magazine. “She is building state of the art nurseries in all of her homes.”
They continued: “She’s having bespoke wallpaper made and it’s costing a fortune with climate control and cameras so she can see everything on her laptop.”
The 24-year-old shared the happy news of her pregnancy on her website at the end of last month and reports suggest that Adele is set to give birth in September.
Sharing more details about other accessories the star has purchased, the source added: "She's pre-ordered Bon Point unisex baby clothes - and they don't come cheap. And she's already bought three Bugaboo pushchairs and a $900 Moses basket.
“Not to mention the small fortune she's spent in Tiffany's on picture frames and trinkets. She even bought an antique bear for $7,500.”
Adele and her boyfriend Simon Konecki started dating last summer and moved in together earlier this year. They are also rumoured to be getting married before their baby’s arrival.
