Adele Suffers Another Setback
Adele has been forced to cancel many concerts this year due to on and off issues with her precious voice box. Sadly for fans, and surely for Adele, she has just cancelled ten of her upcoming sold out shows in the US due to a haemorrhage in her vocal cord...
Although she has been unable to perform, the public clearly forgive her as she was honoured with a two Q Awards this week. She won the Best Female Artist award and Best Track for her hit, 'Rolling in the Deep'. However, she was not able to make the award ceremonies and her doctor has advised the singer to even keep conversation to a minimum.
Adele took to her blog to air her frustrations: "I simply hate letting you down. Although now I’m having to let you down once again through no fault of my own really. If I continue to pick up everything before I have properly conquered these problems and nipped them in the bud, I will be totally and utterly f***ed. Singing is literally my life; it’s my hobby, my love, my freedom and now my job. I have absolutely no choice but to recuperate properly and fully, or I risk damaging my voice forever."
She continued: "I will be back and I’m gonna smash the ball out the park once I’m touring again. Please have faith in me that this is the only thing I can do to make sure I can always sing and always make music for you to the best of my ability."
Get well soon, Adele.
