Azealia Banks 'esta Noche' Release Stopped As Producer Calls Her A 'puppet B***h'
No stranger to controversy, news has emerged that Azealia Banks will no longer be releasing latest single ‘Esta Noche’ following a dispute with the song’s producer. The single was set to be the first release from Banks’ mixtape ‘Fantasea’…
According to Fact Magazine, the track that was due to be released as ‘Esta Noche’ was in fact a 2010 production from DJ and producer Munchi which the ‘1991’ rapstress never gained consent to use.
Munchi alleges that although consent was never given, Azealia went ahead with the release. Clearly frustrated, the DJ took to his Twitter page to label the 21-year old a ‘Spoiled Brat’, allegedly refusing an offer of $25,000 for use of the song.
In reference to the situation, Munchi vented: “Tell your camp the deal is off I don’t want your f****g $25,000. F**k off. Go be a puppet b***h to someone else.”
He added soon after: “Oh damn.. Now you wanna double it, u sure are a pathetic excuse of an artist. NO I DO NOT WANT TO WORK WITH YOU OR YOUR APOLOGY.”
Banks responded: “K so esta noche won’t be being released today because @originalmunchi thinks I’m in the illuminati…
“I’m still shooting the esta noche video tomorrow. *kanye shrug*”
