Beyoncé Writes Tribute Letter To The Late Robin Gibb
Beyoncé has recently praised the Bee Gees, claiming that they were a big inspiration for Destiny's Child when they first started. The singer also paid tribute to Bee Gees star, Robin Gibb – who died at the age of 62 on Sunday (May 20). Beyoncé described the disco trio as an "early inspiration" for Destiny's Child, sending her condolences to Robin's family...
She wrote on her website: "The Bee Gees were an early inspiration for me, Kelly and Michelle. We loved their songwriting and beautiful harmonies. Recording their classic song, 'Emotion', was a special time for Destiny's Child. Sadly we lost Robin Gibb this week. My heart goes out to his brother, Barry Gibb, and the rest of his family."
Destiny's Child released 'Emotion' back in 2001 as a single from their 'Survivor' album.
