Beyonce's Security Stepped Up Over British Stalker Fears
Beyonce’s security team is reportedly being heightened after fears arose of a stalker’s attendance at her forthcoming Sound Of Change concert in Twickenham on Saturday. The Sun has reported that the singer has, in the past, received some threatening letters from Bassey Essien, who was then warned to stay away from her. But concerns have arisen that Essien will be present on the day…
“Staff have been briefed on the situation, and pictures of him have been passed round. They’ve been told to keep their eyes open and be extra vigilant,” revealed a source.
“Security has been increased on a few engagements now, especially for her UK promo. It is believed similar letters to the ones that Essien sent have been received,” they added.
Beyonce won an anti-harassment order in the High Court in 2011 after Essien claimed she was an imposter who had killed the real Beyonce.
In more lighthearted fan-drama, Beyonce recently threatened to have a man escorted out of her concert in Copenhagen after he slapped her on the bum. Brave!
