Chris Brown 'understands' People Judging Him
In perhaps an attempt to gain some public understanding, controversial superstar Chris Brown recently featured on a new episode of MTV’s ‘This Is How I Made It’. From coming from a small city in Virginia and being signed at 15 to becoming a worldwide star, the singer has had more ups than he had downs, contrary to media reports…
Chris spoke of how hard it has been to win back the respect of the public, saying: "Having to get personal opinion back and having to gain personal success back, you know, it’s not all the way back you know. But it’s one of my most humbling experiences.”
The ‘Don’t Wake Me Up’ singer continued on a positive note: “My story or my life or my legacy can hopefully show them that once you’re down, that don’t just mean you’re down forever. You never let up.”
Breezy also spoke of the Grammy award that he won earlier in the year for the album ‘F.A.M.E’, saying: “Firsthand to win a Grammy award, it was just the most, like that bliss feeling again. I appreciate it so much to this day; I have it on a mantle and the light on it.”
However, the 23-year-old did recall his mistakes, saying: “I can't hate people for making judgment on me, or making a decision of liking me or not liking me.
'All I can do is try to better as a person. And I'm good with knowing everything isn't always going to be perfect. [People are] always gonna know me for situations and life obstacles.”
