Did Whitney Houston Have A Premonition Of Her Death?
It has been reported that the late Whitney Houston told friends that she felt the end was near for her, just days before she passed away. Whitney’s friends informed TMZ that she told them that she "really wanted to see Jesus." Her friends also said that in her final days, the singer was feeling very spiritual and would sing hymns, quote Bible scriptures, have deep discussions about religion and the afterlife...
On the Friday before her demise, Whitney performed 'Yes Jesus Loves Me' at the Tru Nightclub in Hollywood. Another source told TMZ that Whitney admitted the reason why she had been thinking heavily about religion and Jesus was because she "felt like her time was coming" and wanted to repent. She also reportedly said: "I'm gonna go see Jesus... I want to see Jesus."
The source also revealed that just hours before her death, Whitney was discussing a Bible passage before smiling and saying: "You know? He's so cool… I really want to see that Jesus." It is tragic that her supposed intuition proved her right.
Whitney’s funeral is due to take place this Saturday at the small New Jersey church she sang at as a child. The funeral home owner told the BBC that the funeral was by invite only and will consist mainly of Houston’s family. They said of the attendees: "They have shared her for 30 some years with the city, with the state, with the world. This is their time now for their farewell."
A police spokesman made a statement about the singer’s cause of death, saying that although prescription drugs were found in her hotel room, any reports on the cause of her demise are "rumours and speculation." They added that it will take up to 8 weeks for an official result.
God bless her soul.
