Diggy Simmons Vows To Never Swear In Songs
Ahead of his debut album’s release in December, Diggy Simmons – son of the legendary Run-DMC member, Rev Run – has vowed never to swear in any of his songs, and it isn’t because he is worried about how his father would react..."
"When people hear me say certain types of things, they say, I wonder what Rev would think," Diggy told 93.9 WKYS. "I wouldn't say anything in the first place that would be shameful to my family anyway, but I am me at the end of the day. That's not even me trying to be clean. I don't need it, I don't need to curse in my rhymes or in any of my songs. I'm never gonna curse. There's no point."
Even though his debut album isn’t due for another couple of months, the 16-year-old's popularity is already growing – thanks to largely positive reviews for his mixtapes and debut single, ‘Copy, Paste’. He has even made an impression on the UK charts, when he made a guest appearance on Dionne Bromfield’s single, 'Yeah Right', which charted at number 36.
