Dizzee Rascal Talks Fan Love Ahead Of The Release His Olympic Song ‘Scream’
As one of the first UK urban acts to break into the mainstream, it has now been announced that Dizzee Rascal will be releasing an official Olympics song. Entitled ‘Scream,’ the song is set to be one of five official tracks that will be used throughout the sporting competition…
It features his own Dirtee Stank signee Pepper, who has performed with him in recent months.
Despite his eclectic appeal, the rapper has recently revealed that he much prefers intimate gigs as he feels a stronger connection to his fans. He said to BangShowbiz: “The vibe is the same as a big festival. I see moshpits, lunatics jumping around… It just felt the same, but closer, it felt a bit better. It's better because you just make that connection straight away and when you've got the connection it's just love from there.
''You'll get knocked around, you'll get sweaty, it's the most fun. It's just euphoric man, it's love, that's all it is.''
The soundtrack to the London Olympics opening ceremony will go on sale at midnight on Saturday July 28.
