Dj Khaled Wants To Work Alongside Eminem
Having released his latest album, ‘We The Best Forever’, earlier this week, DJ Khaled has already turned his attention to future projects and has spoken of his desire to work alongside Eminem on a track that the Miami DJ has already handpicked for the ‘Not Afraid’ rapper...
Despite appearances on his new album from industry heavyweights such as Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige, Drake, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes and Chris Brown, DJ Khaled could not hide his disappointment at failing to get Slim Shady on-board the project and revealed that having previously worked alongside Jay-Z and Kanye West he wanted to work with Eminem next.
"I wanted Eminem," said Khaled in an interview with Hot 97. "I’ve worked with Jay-Z before, I’ve worked with Kanye before, so I wanted to reach out to Eminem."
The Miami-based dj also revealed that he has a track ready and waiting for Eminem to record and stated his belief that the collaboration will eventually happen: "I actually have a track waiting. Ya’ll A&R that. I really want to make it happen, I think it’s gon’ happen."
This isn’t the first time that Khaled has issued a public plea to Eminem to work alongside him. Back in September 2010, he told MTV News US that a collaboration with the Shady Records boss would "rip the streets apart."
