Ed Sheeran: 'new Album Won’T Be Released Until 2014'
Homegrown talent Ed Sheeran, who spent much of his rise to fame sleeping on other people’s couches, last year catapulted to fame with his debut album ‘+’. Currently doing the rounds of the globe on his headline tour of the album, Sheeran recently revealed that his next album will not be released until early 2014 “at the earliest…”
Having only just concluded his tour of the UK and Ireland, the ‘Give Me Love’ singer is set to head to the US to begin an 84-date tour, which begins in Houston, Texas on January 17.
"I'm on tour until September and this tour is so long I'll need a break afterwards,” he told The Sun.
But this isn’t due to a lack of songs, as Sheeran went on to reveal that has already written 26 songs for the new album.
His debut ‘+’ has spawned massive success, achieving platinum status five times over in the UK and achieving four top ten singles.
