Ed Sheeran Talks Brit Awards
Ahead of the BRIT Awards nomination ceremony this evening, Ed Sheeran has announced that he would feel "fantastic" at the prospect of being a nominee for this year’s show in London. The triple platinum artist is rumoured to be one of the favourites to be shortlisted for an award, however Ed told Capital FM that he wasn't expecting to be recognised, although he would be flattered if he scooped a nomination...
He said: "I think I'd feel great if I had a nomination. I wasn't really expecting one this year. I went to the BRITs last February and I remember Tinie Tempah winning all of his awards, and I'd just signed the week before.
He also stated that if he doesn’t receive a nomination, it won’t be a "big loss" and that he will "hold out until next year." The ceremony for this year's BRIT Awards will take place at London's O2 Arena on February 21.
