Emilio Pucci Designs Tour Costumes For Rita Ora
Rita Ora will be touring in style as she has enlisted Italian fashion house Emilio Pucci to design an extravagant wardrobe for her 'Radioactive' tour. The 'Shine Ya Light' singer is following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga and Madonna, who have previously chosen a major fashion house to create their costumes for their tours...
According to The Telegraph, Peter Dundas, the creative director of Pucci, has worked closely with Ora in order to create her vision which he sees as being 'Urban Glamour'.
Allowing Ora the freedom to carry out her intricate dance moves was one of the main concerns for Dundas, however when probed on creating the perfect costumes for the singer he seemed elated at the opportunity.
"I was thrilled to design the costumes for Rita's 'Radioactive Tour'; from the moment I met Rita we've had a great connection and doing something like this together felt like only a natural progression," said Dundas.
"The costumes have impact and flamboyance in a way that feels personal to Rita whilst staying true to the Emilio Pucci aesthetic."
Rita Ora's 'Radioactive' tour kicked off two nights back in Manchester and continues throughout February in Cardiff, Newcastle, Sheffield, London, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Bristol, York and Leeds.
