During the interview the 'Monster' rapper waxed lyrical about the process of recording his new album, reflecting on his past achievements and how to top Kanye West. Discussing his rap peer's acclaimed appearance on the radio show, the rapper – who once teamed up with comedian Sacha Baron Cohen for a stunt at the – proved he hadn’t lost his sense of humour, remarking: “I was trying to figure out how I was going to top the publicity of yours and Kanye’s interview so I decided I was gonna walk in here and just pee on the floor and leave.”
The hard-hitting interview saw the rap veteran reflect on his past achievements while recording the album, sharing: “All my albums, I think, for the most part, pretty much tell where I’m at on each one at that time period ... So there’s a lot of reflecting and things like that, back on everything that was happening during that time, and it’s kinda like me reflecting on it and getting to the point where I am now with it.”
