Example Reveals How Therapy Changed His Life
Rapper-turned-singer Example has recently opened up about his decision to go to therapy and the positive change it has made to his life. The 30-year-old is well known for expressing his unsavoury thoughts on other artists, but her recently admitted to being ‘a b*****d’…
In an emotional interview with The Sun, the chart-topper reflected on his negative experiences with fame and the devastating effects it had on his family.
Speaking about what happens to people in the music industry, the rapper shared: "I was a b*****d. It all went to my head… It wasn't Priory-style stuff. Basically, my mum and dad had moved to Australia, the closest people to me, who you trust for sound advice, were abroad. I had a period where I went a bit wild.”
The ‘Stay Awake’ rapper also spoke about the heartbreak of his father finding out about his actions, revealing: “He was a superhero to me. When I saw him burst into tears, it took me back to being a toddler, when you think your dad is invincible. Then suddenly, I’ve upset him so much he’s crying. That was bad.”
The 30-year-old rapper also stated the ‘therapy thing was so good’ for him and how the experience inspired his latest album title, ‘The Evolution of Man’. It also helped him find love with his former Miss Australia girlfriend, Erin Mcnaught.
What a good Example he is!
