Example Talks Nicki Minaj Vs. Mariah Carey: ‘People Won’T Remember Nicki In 10 Years’
Following the shocking video that gossip site TMZ posted online for the world to see, details have been leaking on the ‘feud’ that is allegedly occuring between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj. Since seeing a video of the pair arguing, Mariah Carey spoke to The View host Barbara Walters, saying Nicki threatened her with violence…
Barbara relayed Mariah’s version of events: "Nicki has not apologized, but they were together in meetings ... during which Nicki said, 'I love you, but we might fight again!' Mariah said at this point she doesn’t feel comfortable emotionally but she will continue with the show because she loves mentoring the contestants."
Nicki later tweeted about feeling victimised as she felt she wasn’t invited to tell her side of the story, writing: "Barbara Walters didn't reach out from our team barbz. I guess we're too dangerous. Don't shake if you don't wannA get shook. LmAooooooooooo.”
Despite Nicki’s claims, Walters took to her show after the comments to dispute them, saying: "Well, we did. Even on the air, at that moment. I didn't have her home phone. And we did. We said, 'Please call us! Have your representative call us. We'll do whatever you want.' We did it live on the air."
Meanwhile, outspoken UK artist Example has been having his say on the matter, telling The Sun: “I’ve met Minaj. I’m not a fan. I don’t think you can be that much of a diva unless you’ve had loads of massive tunes. In ten years, people are going to be struggling to remember anything Minaj has done except her verse on ‘Monster’.”
