Fashawn Signs To Nas’ Mass Appeal
The rapper is now a part of the Mass Appeal family...
Fashawn is currently working on his long-awaited second album, The Ecology, which is set for release September 30.
The rapper gained early success in 2009 with his debut album Boy Meets World, which let him onto the 2010 XXL Freshman cover, standing next to the likes of Wiz Khalifa, J. Cole and Big Sean.
He has also taken to the stage with notable stars in the industry, including Kendrick Lamar and Talib Kewli at shows such as Rock the Bells and Paid Dues.
"Fashawn is one of the most underrated in the game,” said Nas. “The world is gonna know soon. We're excited to have him as a part of the family."
The Ecology, Fashawn’s first release with his new signing, is set to include a handful of collaborations including Nas and Aloe Blacc.
“I took the time to really work on this project because I knew it would be important not just for my career, but for hip-hop,” said Fashawn. “I can’t wait to finally share my new project, especially through a label that gets my vision.”
