Fazer: 'n-Dubz Reunion Depends On Me'
Fazer has spoken about a future reunion with Dappy and Tulisa, saying that despite the controversy that his fellow N-Dubz bandmates have received since their split, he thinks his lack of bad press will give them a ‘clean slate’. Speaking to the BBC, Fazer said that he will release his first solo project later this year…
He added that he thinks it would be best to reunite next year, so spectators do not focus on the negative attention Tulisa and her cousin Dappy have received of late.
"It's going to capitalise on the bad press we've had in the past with the other two members and I think it's going to take someone like me to come through now 'cos it's a fresh clean slate. You never see me in the tabloids. All I'm known for is doing the music and keeping my head down, and I think that's what it needs to make an impact for any sort of drive for a reunion."
Asked on whether he was frustrated with their public troubles, including Tulisa’s drug scandal and Dappy's arrest, Fazer claimed: "I'm not frustrated because it comes with being in the media. No-one's perfect and we're still growing up. I'm not mad at anyone because it happens, but you won't be seeing me in the press for anything but music."
