Foxy Brown Wins Year-Long Court Case
Foxy Brown, the female rapper from New York, has emerged victorious from a lengthy court case after judges dropped charges against her. Foxy was accused of violating a court order last July when she was seen "mooning" her neighbour, Arlene Raymond, who later told prosecutors that she would not testify in the trial...
Assistant District Attorney Robert Isdith chose to scrap the case after the neighbour admitted that there was no money to be made by suing the rap artist, saying in a statement: "While the district attorney's office has no doubt the defendant committed this crime, we have no other choice but to dismiss this case."
Salvatore Strazzullo, who represented Brown, said he planned to sue the City, Police Department and Brooklyn D.A. for prosecuting his client maliciously. He argued that Raymond had to have been lying about the encounter because "Brown wasn't wearing any underwear."
