Game Cleared Of Criminal Charges
Game has received some good news ahead of the release of his 'R.E.D. Album', which is due for release next week. Earlier this week, the rapper faced criminal charges after a tweet from his Twitter account was posted on the popular social networking site containing the telephone number of the Compton police department…
However, charges against the Compton rapper have been dropped after he apologised for the incident and told police that he wasn’t responsible for the tweet, which resulted in a "telephone flash mob" jamming emergency phone lines for over two hours.
Mike Parker, of the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department, branded the incident as "irresponsible", but his stance has now changed following Game’s apology and explanation that the offending tweet was created by a friend that used his cell phone.
"Based upon our investigation, as well as consultation with the Los Angeles County attorney’s office, the LASD consider the criminal investigation into this matter closed,” said Parker in a statement released last night.
