Jay-Z Set To Perform At The Paralympics Closing Ceremony?
Rapper Jay-Z has been tipped to join the star-studded line up set to perform at the upcoming London 2012 Paralympics closing ceremony on September 9. According to reports, Hov was convinced to perform at the event by close friend Chris Martin of Coldplay…
A source told The Daily Mirror: "It's going to be one hell of a show, and fans of both artists will be clamouring for tickets.
"The Paralympics has exceeded all expectation and, like the rest of the world, Jay-Z has been blown away by [the competitors'] bravery and athleticism. This will be a concert like no other, and a fantastic end to what has been the most successful Paralympics ever."
If reports are true, Jay-Z will join fellow ROC-Nation artist Rihanna who is set to duet with Coldplay to perform their single ‘Princess of China’ at the ceremony, as the source claimed: "They are putting together a spectacular set list – one likely to include a duet."
The performance would close out a spectacular summer for Jay-Z who has headlined several key-dates this summer, including BBC's Hackney Weekender, the Watch The Throne tour and most recently his Made In America festival which saw the rapper close the show with legendary group Pearl Jam.
