Jay-Z Vs Krept & Konan?
It has been alleged that Jay-Z has ordered YouTube to take down Krept & Konan’s version of 'Otis'. The UK version gained over 5 million hits within a month of the video being released onto the streaming site...
It seems Jigga was not impressed by the Londoners cashing in and gaining publicity by using his instrumental, so Krept & Konan were forced to remove the video due to "copyright reasons."
Krept took to twitter to air his anger, saying: "Copyright just shot me and konan in the face! 'Otis' audio and video deleted because we weren’t meant to be claiming money from it, as its copyright. YouTube, suck ya mudda!"
He continued to vent his views: "I reckon Jay-Z was hating and said to YouTube, 'Ahhh, hell nah! These lil’ ni**as can't be making money off me and Yeezy’s s**t.'"
He followed up by giving producers a chance to step up: "I reckon we should take the bars and put it on a similar beat and re-upload it. Producers holla!"
After saying what he needed to say, Krept left it on a happier note: "At least 5 million people across the WORLD have seen it! Let's keep it in memory by watching the 4 million plank video!"
It will be interesting to see what these two do next.
