Jessie J Upsets ‘The Voice’ Staff With Comments
Jessie J is reportedly in quite a bit of trouble with the latest talent show that she's a judge on, 'The Voice'. Jessie's edited appearance on Friday night's Graham Norton show now caused rumours of her getting axed to go around, as that's where she called some aspects of the latest talent show to hit our screens "lame" and claimed that she didn't watch it on TV...
This comes in the wake of another slump in the show's ratings, which saw a decline of four million viewers in a fortnight. "Many of the show’s most senior staff are angry that Jessie criticised the show’s production values so publicly. She is paid a huge amount of money to be a big part of the show, and should be one of the show’s most vocal supporters," revealed a BBC insider.
But her comments aren’t all that’s angering 'The Voice' staff, as the source added: "She turns up with a legion of minders, assistants and hangers-on and is sometimes late too. It's like an audience with the Queen - although Her Majesty's timekeeping is probably better."
Kylie Minogue and Cheryl Cole have reportedly signed up to perform at the semi-final in an effort to boost the shows ratings. The Daily Mirror also claim that 'The Voice' bosses are looking to get multi-platinum selling artists like Adele "to add more quality to the show."
