Jessie Ware Signs Record Deal In The Us
Following the success of her debut album ‘Devotion’, eclectic singer Jessie Ware has signed a brand new record deal across the pond with US label Cherry Tree records. According to Digital Spy, the ‘Running’ singer is set to join fellow UK artists La Roux and Ellie Goulding, who are also signed to the label…
The 28-year-old singer has released a statement expressing her glee at joining the label, saying: "I'm extremely excited to be joining Cherrytree … Not only am I a huge fan of the artists already on their roster, but I have seen how they have nurtured and helped other UK artists.
“I can't wait to start working with them, and I look forward to touring the US and playing to new people!"
To begin her assault on the US, Ware will release her debut EP ‘110%’ in December ahead of the release of her debut album and US tour next year.
Speaking to The Belfast Telegraph, Jessie recently revealed that she is a ‘pessimist’ and states that was the reason she shunned reviews of her debut album. She shared: “I didn't want to read any reviews of the album when they started appearing.
"I was so excited to finally be releasing an album I didn't want to potentially tarnish it by reading a load of negative things. I just wanted to enjoy the moment.”
