Kanye West Headlines At Moroccan Music Festival
Over the weekend, Kanye West performed in front of an estimated crowd of 100,000 people on day 2 of the annual 'Festival Mawazine: Rhythms Of The World' in Rabat, Morocco. The performance gave Yeezy’s Moroccan fans a rare chance to see their idol perform live in their country and in typical fashion, Mr. West did not disappoint…
During a 45-minute set, the Chicago-born superstar enthralled his audience with performances of all his biggest hits, including his debut single, 'Through The Wire', through to his most recent release, 'All Of The Lights', and a special remixed version of Katy Perry’s ‘E.T.’
The eight-day festival runs until May 28 and other headline acts that are due to perform at the festival in the Moroccan capital include Shakira, Earth, Wind & Fire, Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie.
West’s astonishing festival performance in Morocco comes just a month after his appearance at the popular Coachella spectacular in California gained rave reviews. UK festival-goers will be able to see Yeezy perform at 'The Big Chill 2011' in August.
