Keri Hilson Warms Up For Billboard Awards By Partying In Las Vegas
Before presenting at last night’s Billboard Awards, Keri Hilson spent her Saturday night dancing any pre-ceremony nerves away by sipping cocktails and performing a mini-concert in HAZE Nightclub at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Hilson even invited some of her female fans to join her on stage and dance with her, as she performed her hits, 'Knock You Down', 'Pretty Girl Rock' and 'Turnin' Me On', to a packed out club...
As fears grew among revellers that the world was going to end due to the 'Rapture', Ms. Hilson was determined to ensure that everyone in HAZE Nightclub enjoyed their final night on earth: “Let’s end the world together, in SIN CITY. Damn shame! Lol,” Hilson joked.
In case you hadn’t noticed, the world didn’t end on Saturday, which meant that Keri Hilson was able to attend the 2011 Billboard Awards and carry out her presenting duties at the MGM Grand as planned.
As we revealed earlier this month, Beyoncé won the Billboard Millennium Award for her contribution to the music industry, and at last night’s awards bash the Texan diva was presented with the award by her mother, Tina Knowles.
Upon receiving the award, Beyoncé thanked her family, fans and her Destiny’s Child bandmates (including the former members) and she reserved special praise for her husband, Jay-Z: “I love me some Jay-Z!"
London’s Taio Cruz was also celebrating last night after scooping the Hot 100 Song Of The Year award for his popular ‘Dynamite’ track.
