Kilo Kish Teams Up With Childish Gambino, Earl Sweatshirt And Others For Mixtape
Sometimes singer, sometimes rapper Kilo Kish is set to release a new project entitled ‘k+;’. The mixtape is collaboration heavy, with artists such as Earl Sweatshirt, Childish Gambino, SBTRKT, A$AP Ferg and others getting involved. Alongside the mixtape, the artist will be holding an art show on February 1 in New York’s Los Kabayitos Theater…
According to Pitchfork, Kilo said of her forthcoming project: “’k+’ is a collaborative multimedia project between my friends and I with an emphasis on the process of making music. I have designed a space to represent this, filled with notes, drafts, inspirations, photos and videos.
“My songs, which are the product of this process, include layers of sound spanning from at home demos to professional studio recordings. This is in an attempt to purposely highlight our imperfections and reject the finality of "the finished product".
For now, you can listen to a track from the mixtape called ‘Creepwave’, produced by CRONOS and featuring Flatbush Zombies.
