Lil Wayne On Drake And Chris Brown ‘Brawl’: ‘I Laughed At Them’
Since Drake and Chris Brown were involved in a brawl at a New York nightclub, the backlash is yet to settle down. Lawsuits are still flowing in from spectators that claim they were injured during the chaos, with E! News reporting that the latest victim to file a case is Romain Julien, who allegedly suffered "severe personal injuries…"
Though both Drake and Brown both claimed their innocence in the matter, Drake’s mentor Lil Wayne recently spoke about the drama, telling MTV News in his famous blasé manner that he found it all quite funny: "Honestly, I laughed at them," he said, laughing even as he spoke about it.
"I can't front, I just laughed at them... like, it's funny to me. I thank God I ain't going through it though, I've already been through too much."
The rapper’s opinions have been a talking point this week as the New Orleans artist also said to MTV recently that he “don't like New York."
The New York senator was furious at the statement, saying in a press conference: "I take strong exception to the words 'I don't like New York,'” adding that if he doesn’t like the Big Apple, "you don't have to come to New York."
He continued: "You don't have to sell your products here. And perhaps we won't come to your concerts.”
Weezy is yet to comment on the backlash.
