Mac Miller Releases Two New Songs And Talks 'pink Slime' Ep
Mac Miller has launched a soundcloud page under the name ‘Larry Dollaz’ and the first thing he did was upload two new tracks for his fans. ‘Someone Like You’ is directed towards the ladies, with a laid-back J. Hill chopped and screwed beat …
The young Pittsburgh native also released a cover of the 2005 song by band Bright Eyes, called ‘First Day Of My Life’, which hears the rapper sing lazily, which strangely works.
Meanwhile, the lyricist has been speaking about his collaborative EP with Pharrell, which is titled ‘Pink Slime’. He told Sway In The Morning that it is not yet done and he doesn’t want to stop working with the N.E.R.D producer as it is too much fun: “It’s a different world, Pharrell and me. It’s great. I’ve wanted to work with Pharrell forever, and we have a lot of fun in the studio and make good music.
“We can’t finish it; I told him we have to write this last chapter of the ‘Pink Slime’ saga together. We can’t do the email thing. I’ve got to go down to Miami or he’s got to come to where I’m at, an undisclosed location.”
