Maz’S Weekend Word: Rihanna’S New Fling? Drake Gets In Trouble, Usher Talks ‘Climax’ And Movie Roles
This weekend, any rumours of Rihanna pining for Chris Brown were put on the back burner after the Bajan star was seen leaving Ashton Kutcher’s apartment in the dead of the night. Since the significant sighting, friends of the pair have begun to talk about the entertainers, revealing that they have been seeing each other for months...
Rihanna and Ashton reportedly hit it off in December at a mutual friend’s party, with a source telling The Sun: "The flirting began as soon as Rihanna and Ashton met and swapped numbers. That moved onto texts and arranging to meet. They snuck off to a Santa Monica hotel a few weeks ago. They are two single people having a fling, so thought it would be best to meet in secret."
The source continued: "Rihanna has told friends he's funny and cute. She's starting to enquire about Kabbalah sessions with his rabbi. If she and Ashton are getting really close, she wants to be able to understand it."
Drake has been causing chaos as he tours around the world for his 'Club Paradise' shows. The rapper-turned-singer recently went to the Dollhouse Lounge in Oklahoma with some friends and got the club shut down after openly smoking cannabis in the VIP area.
The club’s manager claimed when he smelt the smoke, he shut the party down and called the cops. However, in an unexpected twist, the police came to the venue and arrested the club manager! The club manager is now reportedly furious and is suing Drake for the tickets sold for the event that got shut down early that night, which is reportedly worth thousands.
The YMCMB star should be used to lawsuits by now after recently being sued by an ex-girlfriend over ‘Marvin’s Room’. Both cases are still said to be on-going. Drizzy was also recently spotted in Miami shooting the video for 'HYFR', featuring cameos from Trey Songz, Birdman, DJ Khaled and, of course, Lil Wayne. The video was shot in a Synagogue and will show the singer recreating his Bar Mitzvah.
Usher has been speaking about his Diplo-produced track, 'Climax', to Capital FM, emphasising that the song is not at all sexual. The singer said: "'Climax' was an expression of my forward thinking in music. Working with Diplo – whom I was very fond of and loved what he had done with music – I felt that he would understand the interpretation.
"'Climax' was that first record that I really felt represented this very new experience for me where I'm tying in a dance world with a very soulful experience. Some people may assume that it's more sexual than anything –it's not. It's about living life to the fullest and when you reach that point where you either got to commit or let it go. It is somewhat of a relationship record and an expression of my creativity."
The songwriter also said that after his emotional performance in the video for 'Climax', he was asked to play the role of Sugar Ray Leonard in a new film, telling the story of the American boxer.
