Michael Jackson’S Estate Signs Major Deal With Pepsi
The late Michael Jackson is due to be seen on a new TV advert for Pepsi. The soft drinks company have apparently made a huge deal with the late singer’s estate, which will also see MJ's face on special edition cans all around the world. Although no details have been released as to how the legend will appear on the advert, it has been rumoured that clips will be shown of the original advert that he did for the company back in 1980s...
An infamous commercial shoot with Pepsi left MJ with second-degree burns on his scalp after the special effects malfunctioned and caused his hair to set on fire. The incident is supposedly what caused him to begin using drugs for pain relief, later leading to his painkillers addiction.
Along with the posthumous deal, it has been said that Skrillex and Diplo will be working on remixing Michael’s 1987 album, 'Bad', for the new Pepsi project, which is called 'Live For Now'. The executors of Jackson’s estate said of the deal: "We are thrilled to bring Michael and Pepsi back together, as they were in 1988, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the 'Bad' album and tour, and to put Michael on one billion Pepsi cans."
