Motherhood Will Give Adele's Music A 'new Sound'
Over the weekend, Adele reportedly gave birth to her first child, a baby boy with her partner Simon Konecki. A source told The Mirror that they were ‘ecstatic’. Adele’s joy is said to be influencing her future music, with songwriter Dan Wilson telling the paper: "She’s never been happier. We have exchanged a couple of emails. Adele is in a good place…
The 24-year-old reportedly told mates: “I really want to release a happy record now. I have never been happier. I have written some stuff and I will release it when I’m ready.”
Her friend continued to say: “Adele has been working for the last few months. The Bond theme was not the only thing she has written.
“Her music is based around how happy she has been with Simon and the changes that come from being a mother. She has quite a few tunes and people are going to be surprised by the new sound, it’s incredible."
Much to the joy of Adele fans, the source concluded: “Talk about her disappearing for years is nonsense. She will be caring for her son until Christmas but it is her intention to have some mixes finished and prepped for an album as early as next autumn.”
Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the singer will be missing the premiere of the movie Skyfall tomorrow, which she wrote and sang the theme tune for.
A source said to The Sun: "Adele doesn’t want to leave her little boy’s side, it’s as simple as that… Right through her pregnancy she’s been practically a shut-in as she wanted to look after herself and the baby. Now he’s here, she can’t bear heading out without him, even to hobnob with royalty.”
