Nelly Named In Lawsuit Over Unpaid Loan?
Nelly has been mentioned in a lawsuit filed by St.Louis' Truman Bank as one of the investors owing over $2,000,000 on a promissory note. According to Courthouse News Service, the suit states that the rapper is part of the Third Street Investors group alongside former NFL star Marshall Paulk, former NBA player Darius Miles, and others...
The bank says the group owe the sum of $2.045 million dollars. This appears to be the group first step in their debt collection action. Third Street Investors are behind St. Louis' Skybox Sports Bar & Grill, which is an entertainment arena and restaurant that existed for about one year and six months between 2008 and 2009 before the business came to a fold.
Although two clubs used the same space following Skybox's closing, the space is presently operated by Vatterott College EX'treme Institute, a music recording school owned by Nelly.
