Nicki Minaj Plans To Release New Lp Early Next Year
Nicki Minaj has been an unstoppable force this year, and 2012 is set to be just as busy for the Young Money rapper. The Barbie-loving star is preparing to release her second album in February 2012 and she tweeted last night, saying: "ROMAN RELOADED will be released on Valentine’s Day, 2012. Heeeee’s baaaaaccccckkkkk..."
Nicki previously said of her first album that "'Roman' will have a large presence." However, on the album’s release, he was barely heard – only getting his moment on the Eminem-featuring track, 'Romans Revenge'. The album will be called, 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded'.
It is yet to be clarified as to whether the LP will consist purely of new material or if will simply be another 'Pink Friday' with bonus tracks. Meanwhile, the Young Money collective are keeping themselves in the rumour windmill as Drake was questioned about his overly friendly relationship with Minaj.
In an interview with Chelsea Handler, the Canadian rap star was asked: "What’s the deal with you and Nicki?” To which he replied: "In what context?" The straight talking interviewer responded: "In penetration context! There are rumours that you were hitting that..."
Drake refused to give a clear answer, which led to Handler saying that she would take that as confirmation. His response? "Fair enough."
Was that a confession or is Drake messing around? Guess we’ll never know...
