Nicki Minaj Reportedly Signs Up To Be American Idol Judge
Outspoken ‘Queen Barb’ Nicki Minaj is the latest celebrity in talks to join the American Idol judging panel, according to US Weekly magazine. The ‘Superbass’ rapper is said to be taking a spot on the all-star line-up of judges, alongside Mariah Carey…
29-year-old Minaj is set to take over the role as a judge after both Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez stepped down from their roles as judges on the upcoming season of the show.
US Weekly have quoted two sources who have both confirmed Nicki’s appearance is almost a done deal, with one stating she is “100 per cent” confirmed whilst the second source said: “I'm not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it … A few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening."
Meanwhile the lyricist had a few choice words for her ‘haters’ who criticized her decision to pull out of her headlining appearance at the recent V Festival. Nicki certainly didn’t mince her words posting a series of tweets: "I am so thankful to my true fans who understand WHY I couldn't play #VFestival & WHY I can't play Dublin. Absolutely gutted.
"However, if u have anything negative to say to me, please #EatS**tAndDie - I am human. I was in jeopardy of losing my voice entirely and needing surgery on my vocal chord. If u can't understand that, your mother's a W***E!”
