P. Diddy: 'my Children Are Not Celebrities'
Children of celebrities often become celebrities in their own right; but not P. Diddy’s! At least according to the hip-hop mogul, who recently insisted that his six children – all of whom were born to various women – are not ‘celebrity children…’
“That’s one of the things that I think that raising my kids myself and the mothers of my children, we didn’t raise them as celebrity children,” he recently told Access Hollywood.
“We don’t allow taking pictures at their recitals and things like that. We don’t wanna be rude or nothing, but it’s their time, it’s their moment. I’m there to support them as a parent.”
Diddy went on to reveal that his fame was not their choice and he has done everything in his power to protect them from it. 19-year-old Justin currently plays American Football at UCLA after receiving a scholarship to study there. The proud father went on to say that on the occasions he goes to support his son at the games, it’s all about him.
“I just go there as a parent,” he said. “I tell people like, I’m off today. I’m really here to support my son. It’s about my son… I dress in full UCLA garb. I’m fully committed, I’m a full Bruin.”
