Plan B has revealed that he adamantly rejected a potential collaboration with Jay-Z, after label bosses suggested the idea could help his profile overseas. The singer/songwriter, who is currently promoting his ‘Defamation Of Strickland Banks’ album in the US, said that the idea was scrapped after it was suggested the megastar would handle the rapping on the album, which Plan B originally done...
Plan B told The Sun: "Obviously, he [Jay-Z] doesn't sing so they thought he could do my [rapping] bits and I was like, 'Nah, you can f**k off. No way. Not happening.' It's no big deal, but people aren't forcing things. If I'm too black for the white stations and too white for black stations then I'm f**ked over there anyway, aren’t I?"
Plan B also supported Adele on her recent US tour and was more than complimentary towards the chart-topping Londoner.
"It was great, she's wicked. It was nice to be with a British production. We had a couple of nights out. She's really funny."
