Pw Reveals His Top 10 Valentine’S Day Tracks
North London lyricist PW has released his new EP ‘From P With Love’ for the lovers today (February 14); the 5-track EP sees the rapper collaborate with Scorcher, Starboy Nathan and others. The offering follows his debut mixtape ‘New Kid On The Block’ and is available to download for free now via SB.TV. You can also see the MC live soon, as he readies to perform at The Garage in London on February 26. But for now, The Wrap Up caught up with PW to talk all things love related...
“Right now I'm single. I don't want to be cliché and say I only have time for music but when you’re on a journey like this, you need someone supportive and understanding to accompany you along the way.
“They say behind every successful man lies a successful woman, I'm just waiting for that woman.”
PW also shared his top 10 baby-making tracks with us for the big V Day, which you can check out after the jump.
Tevin Campbell - 'Can We Talk'
'I relate to this song a lot; we all go through this… seeing someone you find attractive, approaching them and wanting to get their attention. Great song.'
Maxi Priest - 'Close To You'
'A massive UK release. I really liked the song melodically, plus I played football with him - cool guy. Who didn't like the music from the late 80's to the Naughty Nineties?'
Joe - 'I Wanna Know'
'I'm a fan of this song just from the simple fact that my sister used to blast it out of her room all day. How can you not love it?'
Bruno Mars - 'Just The Way You Are'
'I love how well written this song is; insecurity is a trait many people have, so when you can tell the one you love that everything about them is perfect, it’s always very pleasant to hear.'
Tina Moore - 'Never Gonna Let You Go' (Artful Dodger mix)
'This reminds me of my childhood. I'm a big garage lover and this song is one of the reasons why I love it so much.'
Justin Timberlake - 'Until The End Of Time'
'This is one of my favourite songs, just in general. When Timbaland and JT get together, magic occurs. I’m looking forward to the new JT album.'
Musiq Soulchild - 'Teach Me How To Love’
'This a very romantic song. His soulful vocals really captivate me every time I listen - one of my favourite songs from Musiq Soulchild.'
Maxwell - 'Pretty Wings'
I thought this was an exceptional come back from a legend. He came back with a new look, a new style and an instant classic.'
Donell Jones - 'Shorty Got Her Eyes On Me'
'A massive song from one of my favourite r&b singers. It’s a record that everyone can relate to; when you’re in a club and you’re speaking to that one person at the end of the night… you want to know what's going to happen from here, are you going to keep in contact or are we going to go our separate ways? This song explains that.'
LL Cool J - 'Love You Better'
'This song just reminds me of a relationship I had, we was going through some troubles, I put this on her Facebook wall and she forgave me - so thanks LL!'
