R. Kelly’S ‘Trapped In The Closet’ Series Set To Hit The Small Screen Again
R. Kelly’s 22-song saga, 'Trapped In The Closet', has recently been picked up by the Independent Film Channel (IFC), with the next instalment set to be broadcast on the US channel. The series – which started in 2005, and sees R Kelly narrating a complex soap opera – will continue with 32 more chapters and will center around Kelly’s character, 'Sylvester'...
"'Trapped In The Closet' is [about] me being silly and not having a job and having nothing else to do, and sitting around in the studio," Kelly said in a statement. "I've always wanted to be a movie director and [this is] pretty much my movie director seeping out through my music."
He continued: "When I first began experiencing the unknown journey of writing ‘Trapped in the closet’, I knew after the first chapter that I had tapped into something that was not of this earth. Now here we are at chapter 23, trapped in a million dollar question: what the hell is this package? Well, ladies and gentlemen, not only am I ready to reveal what the package is, but I have many more chapters to share."
Will you be tuning in?
