Review: The Show - R&b Superstars
Last week, London was taken down memory lane as R&B veterans from the US came to Wembley for the R&B Superstars Show, sponsored by BassBuds. Performers included Faith Evans, Bobby V, Sisqo, Donell Jones, Ginuwine, Kelly Price, Mario and others. Are you jealous you weren’t there yet?
The night was an eventful one to say the least – from girls fighting over Genuwine’s sweat-soaked towel to the ‘So Anxious’ singer running through the crowd.
Mario came back strong, reminding people that he ruled R&B in 2004 with the hit ‘Let Me Love You’ and introducing music lovers to his new song ‘Somebody Else’ featuring Nicki Minaj (who wasn’t there, sadly).
Oh, and Sisqo! The ‘Thong Song’ singer showed that he still had some crazy moves with his kick-ass choreography. Faith Evans ended the show with phenomenal vocals, and she had the crowd singing along with her.
If you missed this one, don’t worry – the show will be back in February (for Valentines!) and will feature artists like En Vogue and more. Check out the details HERE.
