Rihanna: “Kids In London Have So Much Style”
In the run-up to the show Style To Rock, which the star executively produced, Rihanna has been speaking about the UK’s fashion sense, expressing her admiration. The singer’s show is set to launch this week and will reportedly feature Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts and Katy Perry…
The star recently told The Sun that she thinks that Londoners “set the trends for designers.’’
Rihanna said: "London has always been one of my favourite cities to come to. I always go out on the street walking around to see what the kids are doing. They always set the trends for the designers."
The show will see the ‘Rude Boy’ singer chose one new designer to create an outfit for her. She said of young London’s style: "I find that the kids in London have so much style, so much street style and so much talent. This show was a way for me to give these kids the opportunity to see how far they can go.
"We're hoping to find the next superstar designer to dress superstars. What I'm really looking to find is the next innovative young designer, someone like Vivienne Westwood or Alexander McQueen.’’
