Rihanna Shows Interest In Playing Whitney Houston In Biopic!
Rihanna revealed that she would love to be casted as Whitney Houston in the biopic about the late singer. The music icon, who died on February 11, was someone who Rihanna "looked up to." During a press conference for 'Battleship in Japan, the 'We Found Love' star admitted that she was not in the running to be cast as Whitney, but would be honoured if she was to get the role...
She said: "I didn't get that call yet. That would be something that I would have to give my entire life to do because I would want to really pull it off. That's a huge, huge role and whoever does it has to do a good job."
The singer-turned-actress also added that she deeply admired Whitney, and had even had the pleasure of meeting her at a Clive Davis party. The 24-year-old remembers 'I Will Always Love You' as the very first song she fell in love with, and mentioned that the late icons' music was played constantly in her childhood home, along with Mariah Carey and Celine Dion.
