Rihanna Wants To Feature In Remake Of Scarface Movie
Rihanna is rumoured to be looking to star in the re-make of the Al Pacino classic gangster film Scarface. The singer is a big fan of the flick after claiming that she has based some of her music videos on Michelle Pfeiffer's character in the movie…
Rihanna is apparently keen to be cast in the role of Elvira Hancock, who was originally played by actress Pfeiffer. A 'source' has told The Sun: "Rihanna loves Scarface. Some of her music videos have been based on Michelle's character, Elvira. She knows all the words and even has her walk perfected."
The Sun also stated that the Bajan songstress has already described Hancock as having "ridiculous swagger". Universal Pictures are reportedly working on a reworking of the 1983 movie and with the singer's big screen debut earlier this year as well as her admiration for Elvira Hancock, the singer feels that she would fit the role perfectly.
Rihanna has been keeping busy on the acting front as she has already been seen shooting scenes for a new Seth Rogen comedy and she is set to star in the sixth instalment of the Fast and Furious franchise.
Musically, Rihanna is set to grace the stage at MTV's VMA's next week as the most nominated female artist at the awards ceremony. The singer is also rumoured to be performing alongside Coldplay at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Paralympic games.
