Ever since Rihanna was assaulted in 2009 by her ex-boyfriend, Chris Brown, sources have been speaking about how the traumatic incident really turned her into her album title, 'Good Girl Gone Bad'! A source told The New York Post that the Bajan star refuses to let anybody tell her what to do, even her management at Roc Nation...
The source said: "Her management banned her from reuniting with Chris, but she said she'll do whatever the hell she wants to. Rihanna is rebelling. She says they have been working her too hard and she wants some time to herself. They fear she'll secretly record an album with Brown, just to defy them."
Rihanna recently told Elle Magazine: "When you know you like a guy, or when you've been in love, that's the same feeling you have swimming with sharks. That's the same feeling you have when doing anything daring, risky, spontaneous, or unpredictable. I think having those butterflies is the closest thing to being in love? And when you play it safe, you don't feel anything at all."
She also spoke about her racy image, which has been criticised by many celebrities and mothers of teenage daughters all over the world, telling Radio Times: "I never do anything to get banned, never do it for controversy. It's always just honest and at times I just go a little too far for some. When I make a music video, it's a piece of art. It's four minutes to make a visual, for people to understand the message in the song."
