Rita Ora Is ‘Wanted To Replace Jessie J On The Voice’
Jessie J revealed this week that she would not be returning to The Voice as she wanted to focus on performing overseas and promoting her forthcoming second album, which is set to drop this year. Following the announcement, it has been reported that the show’s producers are working on getting a pop replacement…
The Mirror claimed that the show have a "desperate desire" to get Adele on board, but admitted that the idea is "unrealistic.”
A source said: "Jessie will need to be replaced by another female, and it would be great to have someone young and current.
“Paloma Faith, Rita Ora and Emeli Sande are right up there on our wish list of talent."
Jessie is leaving her fellow panellists Will.i.am, Donny O’Donoghue and Tom Jones. She also revealed recently that her next single following ‘Wild’ featuring Dizzee Rascal and Big Sean would be “straight up pop.” She also denied that her second album is set to be called ‘Gold’.
