The Clipse's Malice Talks About Depression And His New Godly Way Of Life
Malice from The Clipse recently revealed that he suffered from depression following success in the music industry, and that this is one of the main factors that led him to become a man of God. Revealing that he began to feel low when he was at the height of his fame, the rapper went on to explain how the pressures of fame became difficult to deal with...
He told Christian TV network, CBN: "Even before the record deal, I used to say, ‘I just want a big house and a car and, I’ll be fine.’ I really thought that’s really what I wanted, but then once I became successful in the entertainment industry, I found that I always wanted more and more."
Beginning to realise that he was depressed, he revealed that God pushed him to see that there was a problem and that he needed to seek help: "I’m definitely still doing music, it’s a different kind of music, of course. Needless to say, it’s still going to be good. It’s still going to be motivational, it’s still going to be very inspiring, and I just can’t wait to share it."
