T-Pain said: "Well, you know how Ledger died. He kind of went crazy because he was so into being the 'Joker'. After they finished shooting 'The Dark Knight', he couldn’t stop being the 'Joker'. I think he went so crazy trying to master his craft that he died for what he loved doing. He died mastering his craft. It’s going to be called ‘The Heath Ledger Project’ because that’s how much I love music. That’s how much passion I have for music. I want to master my craft like Ledger tried to do before he died."
The Auto-Tune originator hopes that this mixtape will contain an award-worthy track after the rapper was disappointed his song with Lily Allen, '5 ‘o’ Clock', wasn’t nominated for a Grammy Award: "The weird thing was, stat-wise and chart-wise, this is one of the biggest songs I've ever made. It's huge, and the crazy thing is, I have zero Grammy nominations. But when I didn't have songs of this calibre I was getting four or five a year. That's the only weird thing about the song that confuses me, but hey, whatever."
