Tulisa May Face Huge Legal Bill Over Tape
Tulisa recently saw victory in court when her ex-partner admitted to selling a tape of the pair in an intimate setting. However, as her ex is preparing to launch his own music career, Tulisa may be left to pay a legal bill of around £100k as the people accused of being involved in the sale and distribution do not have the money…
A source told The Sun: “Tulisa firstly paid a legal team to have the tape removed from websites. Then she wanted to make an example of her ex-boyfriend who admitted in court he leaked it. It’s cost her a bomb so far – and she’s still not finished.”
The singer is suing nine defendants, accusing them of helping Edwards to make millions by putting the video up for sale online. One of the accused is the Spice Girls creator, Chris Herbert, who was also a consultant on the X Factor before getting sacked over the current situation.
The source continued: “Ironically, if Chris had been able to keep his job at The X Factor he would have had no problem paying up if Tulisa proves his involvement. But now he’s been booted off the show, that’s in question.”
“Even if she wins financial compensation it’s unlikely she’ll ever see any of it and she’ll end up paying for the case herself. Financially she’ll have lost, but she might see it as a moral victory.”
