Tulisa Offered Profits From X-Rated Tape
X Factor judge and N-Dubz singer Tulisa Contostavlos has been in the headlines often as of late for the rather unfortunate airing of a certain tape. However, it has now emerged that the singer had been offered profits from it in return for dropping the lawsuit against the people who leaked it...
Having obtained an injunction to prevent the publishing of the clip on the internet shortly after its release sometime in March, The Sun now reports that three men had contacted Tulisa via email in order to give her an ultimatum. Namely, that she accept 50% of the cuts from the sales of the tape, or sue her ex Edwards and receive nothing.
The email was reportedly sent by internet businessman Jim Deans and supposed co-conspirators Marino Franchi and Dennis Jared, who are each being sued for £100,000.
Tulisa evidently did not take the offer, as ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards recently admitted to having leaked the footage on the internet in court last week.
